Containment Area Repair Using Uroflex
The Problem
Containment areas are subject to severe corrosion and deterioration due to contact with harsh chemicals. Neglecting these areas can lead to costly repairs and lengthy downtime when the damage becomes too severe as well as penalty fines and environmental issues.

Uroflex coating system is easy to apply via spray, brush, or roller and is 100% solids with no VOCs or solvents. Uroflex conveniently mixes in a 1-to-1 ratio by volume. For long-term maintainability, Uroflex ties back into itself indefinitely with no need for re-blasting or abrasion.
The Application
The previous coating was removed using water jetting. The exposed floor showed signs of deterioration. Uroflex was mixed and two coats were applied using a roller.
A Final Look
The Uroflex application rehabilitated the floor, and it will provide long-term protection. This application was completed by an in-house crew from Miami-Dade Water and Sewer. Epoxytec works directly with municipalities to assist with applications and works in conjunction with contractors.
